Death Before Decaf? Say it ain't so!

Fact: we drink a lot of coffee (it's a good thing we own a coffee shop, right?).  There truly is only so much caffeine we can consume before it almost feels like too much.  We've chatted with many customers who have similar issues, some who cannot have any caffeine at all.  It's great to have that "pick-me-up" in the morning but by late afternoon all a cup of coffee will do is keep us going WAY too late.  Enter the D word.
Decaf doesn't have to be a dirty word.  In fact, we're willing to bet in a blind taste test most people couldn't tell our decaf from a caffeinated roast.  And that's what we've been doing - developing different roasts of decaf that are delicious and satisfying; everything a coffee should be.  Right now we have a Mexican Veracruz Medium Roast Decaf (Mountain Water Process - MWP).  When we find some new beans we will develop another Dark Roast and eventually even a Light Roast.
We've also done a considerable number of taste tests to ensure our decaf beans play well with other beans and blends.  There are those days you need to start toning down the amount of caffeine being consumed and who wants to sacrifice taste?
So, death to decaf?  No way!  Put an end to bad tasting coffee.  Don't settle for mediocre brew.  Enjoy the taste no matter what time of day!
